FashionInMe is conceived as an alternate path. A solution for people of talent who have something to share with the world.
FashionInMe is an e-platform for designers to transform their designs into products and then easily set up their own shop to sell them online. On its own, this would be a great benefit, but FashionInMe offers so much more.
Designers accepted to the platform will gain access to all the tools that a young independent designer would need to be a success in the fashion and design industries – tutoring, operational guidance, infrastructure support, availability to resources, marketing, connections to manufacturing, and even access to capital. We are focused on designers with a unique point of view and a compelling design voice that needs to be heard, whether it’s apparel, shoes, handbags, or even accessories.

Suman Bharti is the founder and CEO of Corsetdeal.com. Beginning with nothing beyond a passion for design and passion, Suman started at the very bottom – selling designs on EBay. He climbed his way up the ladder, specializing in stunning corsets, and today is selling to over 30 countries across the globe.
Now a message from our CEO, Suman Bharti.
Looking good and being fashionable is a part of life in India, but in the past access was limited to high-end fashion that was only accessible to the elite. Thanks to the evolving middle class and the increase of disposable income, fashion is now finally within reach of the common man. The Indian market has also opened up, seeing a flurry of new brands, both domestic and international.
All of this makes me very optimistic and this feeling is backed up by experts who are predicting a 10-12% growth in the Indian fashion industry over the coming years. This number, while very encouraging, could have been even more if infrastructure and logistical issues had been studied in detail and solutions found.
While some problems are beyond my means, I strongly believe that the lack of support for budding entrepreneurs is another anchor that is holding back growth. I faced similar roadblocks myself and have witnessed many potential careers prematurely ended due to a lack of support.
FashionInMe is my solution to not just design but also entrepreneurship. We provide all manner of assistance from infrastructure support, to industry mentorship, to online and offline marketing and of course our e-commerce platform where designers can launch their products and create a customer base.
I firmly believe that once designers have this pragmatic foundation and access to tools in place, they will be free to produce memorable work. I always remember Giorgio Armani’s famous words, “It would be very hard for me to do things somebody else’s way”. For the fashion industry to reach new heights, it is essential that our young designers develop their own styles. This is what we want to encourage and this is also the key to the success of FashionInMe.
